Volunteers are always needed, and there are a ton of ways to get involved.

While we appreciate donations, we also understand that not everyone can afford to stock the pantry. We also rely highly on shoppers that will do a store run for reimbursement (Costco, Sams Club, etc.)

Another option is shipping goods to your own house & unboxing and brining to the pantry.

We ALWAYS need help during pantry hours Tuesday's from 4-6, and Fridays between 10 AM and 1 PM.

During the summer months we have a donation table set up at the Shelter Island Farmers Market (Saturday Mornings).

When can you accept donations of food?
Ideally during pantry hours on Tuesday and Friday, if you have a large donation please email shelterislandfoodpantry@gmail.com to make arrangements & we will be happy to coordinate a time for you to drop it off!
How can I donate to help the running of the pantry?
Please make out checks to: Shelter Island Presbyterian Church Food Pantry

Does the pantry have any events they need extra hands with?
We always could use an extra set of hands! But they are especially valuable during the holidays and summer.
