HISTORY
In the early 1980's a few members of the presbyterian church began delivering food items to those in need around the island. Over the years we have grown into a local pantry supporting the food insure on Shelter Island, and members of neighboring communities.
We are currently open Tuesdays 4-6pm, Fridays 10 am to 1pm.
GET INVOVLED
Volunteer's keep our pantry open, and the local families fed.
We are always looking for helpful hands during open hours, to help stock, to help with food runs.
We are always in need of shelf stable food and personal care items. We cannot accept expired, open or damaged containers.

PROGRAMING
In addition to our weekly pantry services, around the holidays we run programs to ensure every family can be well fed.
Every Thanksgiving we team up with the All Faith Youth Group to provide 'Everything but the Turkey,' which provides all sides and fixings along with a voucher for a Turkey from the Shelter Island IGA.
